Friends of NRA is a grassroots fund-raising program designed to affirm and introduce the rights and privileges of lawful gun ownership to hometown America. True to the tradition of the original town meetings and organized by community volunteers from every walk of life, these events provide participants an opportunity to enjoy the comradery of other shooting sports enthusiasts. Half of all proceeds are used locally in the state where they are raised to fund such important projects as youth education, firearm safety training, hunter safety classes, and conservation.
Amongst the fun and fellowship, Friends of NRA banquets boil down to one goal - fund-raising for the future of the shooting sports. Since its inception in 1992, Friends of NRA has held over 12,000 events, reached over two million attendees and raised over $140 million for The NRA Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
16th Annual Fund Raising BANQUET & AUCTION will be held in August, 2011. Join us at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum!
